Duncan Lindo
Senior Policy Advisor
As Senior Policy Advisor, Duncan is helping Finance Watch develop a vision of a financial system that serves society.
Duncan started my career by working for 12 years in a major investment bank. He worked in risk control and then in risk management on the fixed income trading floor, heading the team in Europe pricing and hedging derivative counterparty credit risk. Duncan then left banking and completed a doctorate in heterodox political economy, developing a theory of the evolution of banks into derivatives dealers. This led him to work for Finance Watch, before combining a part-time research role, first at the University of Leeds and now at Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB), with his current role as an advisor to Finance Watch.
