Anton Weenink

Retired Co-founder, Board member and Director of Vereniging Consument & Geldzaken in Amsterdam

Anton Weenink started his career in 1968 with ABN Bank (until 1979). Between 1979 and 1982, he worked for a Trade firm in Southeast Asia.

In 1986, he obtained a Masters degree in Law from Leiden University and subsequently started working as Policy Advisor to Consumenten Commissie voor Europa (CCE).

In 1994 he founded Vereniging Consument & Geldzaken, a specialized financial consumer organisation with over 30.000 members. Between 1998 and 2019, he served as Director of the organisation.

He retired in 2019.
